A PICTURE I TOOK

Imagen
This are the two photos that I chosed. I wasn't able to choose only one so I decided to upload both of them. I like the fact that in the first picture we can see that the camera is focused in the grass and in the background we can see some flowers and my dog and in the second picture we can see that the camera is focused in the dog. I also added a filter because I think that like this it looks better.

MY PROJECT PRESENTATION

Imagen
This is our commercial video and our power point:  The video:  And the power point:  click here In my opinion the project wasn't really connected with this subject as we had to calculate the incomes, the costs... But I think that we worked really well as a group and we had such a good time and that the final result that we get is really good.

SONG VIDEO

This is our song video and it is inspired in the moon and the night.

FIRST TERM EVALUATION

In my opinion, the first term of Audio Visual Culture has been interesting as we made lots of different things. I think the one that I enjoyed the most was doing the video of the EDL. But there were some other activities that I didn't really liked them such as the donostia innovation challenge.  What I expect for the second term is that we do more things related to photography.

DONOSTIA INNOVATION WEEK CHALLENGE

Imagen
The 28th of October we went to the kursaal to take part in the Donostia Innovation Week Challenge organised by the council. In general, I had a great time but there some things that I dislike.  One the one hand, I have so much fun while we where preparing our idea in our group. I think we all get on well and we think of a really interesting idea. I also find interesting the motivational speech.  On the other hand, I think that it was too long, at the end of the activity all of us were so tired and we didn't enjoy the last activities. I aslo think that if we had the opportunity to go outside it would be better.  Our group was in charge of the internet of things, I didn't know lots of things about it but after the presentation I think that it would be really important in our future.  This is the project that we create:

BEGIRADAK

Last week we went to the Trueba cinema to take part in the "Begiradak" festival. We watched some short films that were made by young people and at the end we watched a professional one. We also had the chance to meet Jon Garaño, a famous film director, and we had the opportunity to ask him some questions.  The one that I liked the most, was the one of the war because the story was interesting and the drawings were amazing. I think The short film showed the real history of a boy in a war and it was narrated by a person using drawings while he was telling the story. I think that he had done an amazing job creating this short video because he might had spent a lot of time doing it.  I think that these esperience was interesting because we learned a lot about filming and at the end we had the opportunity to ask questions to Jon so we had a great time. We also will have to do a short film and I think that it is a interesting project.

FILM ANALYSIS

Imagen
SOME LIKE IT HOT  The pitch:  - Two musicians disguise themselves as women to escape from mafia gangsters - They join a band of girls - Both of them fall in love - They have to escape from the band The story pattern:  - YOU: Two musicians - NEED: They were witnesees of an assassination - GO: They have to escape - SEARCH: Dress in drag - FIND: Join a band of girls - TAKE: Fall in love  - RETURN: Mafia gangsters find them - CHANGE: They have to escape again Interesting facts:  - At first, they couldn't show the film for the first time because of the love scenes that appear in the film.  - It shows us that the society from that time was so sexist.  - It is located in 1929, when the crack of wall street happened.  - Most of the actions are filmed using the medium perspective.  - It is considered one of the best comedy films.

MY FAVOURITE FILM

TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE This is a film directed by Susan Johnson and it is an American teen romance film. The film is about a girl whose name is Lara Jean, used to write a letter to each boy that she used to love. Everytime she wasn't in love with them anymore she used to write a letter where she tells everything she felt.  One day, her sister sent all this letters to the boys by mistake. When Lara Jean knew that she felt so embarrased as one of them was her sisters boyfriend. All the boys went to Lara Jean to ask why did she send them that letters. One of the boys, was the most popular boy at school and he asked her to act like they were a couple. At first, everything was so strange but at the end both of them fell in love. The film is about the love story between Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky.  1- YOU: Lara Jean felt in love with different boys 2- NEED: She write letters 3- GO: Her sister sents that letters 4- SEARCH: Peter and Lara act that they are a coupl...

EUROPEAN SOLIDARY CORPS

Last day, two boys came to our school to talk us about their proiekt. The proiekt was about a opportunity to travel to another place from Europe and to work there as a volunteer. I liked it so much as I think it is a great opportunity to know a new culture or just to meet new people. I would like to have the opportunity to take part in the proiekt some day. I don't mind where to travel, I think all places are interesting. Also, If I have to choose how many time I want to be outside, I will choose the one of 12 months.

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES ACTIVITY

The last 26th of september we celebrated the European Day of Languages and for that, we organised some activities. One of them was that we went to the playground of dbh students. There we persuade them to take part in our game. The game was that there was a sentence in different languages and next to the sentences there where differents languages and they had to link the sentences with the languages. A lot of people came to us and took part. But, as the game was so difficult very little people guessed it everything.

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES, VIDEO

Imagen
In the team we are Aimar Etxeberria, Maider Perez, Ane Alberdi, Natale Bueno and Maialen Dominguez.  We came up with the idea of creating a video that could contain many different languages and we thought that recording students of Luberri that can speak different languages would be a good idea.  At first the idea was to film in the classes where different languages are taught, but as the teachers didn't want us to film their classes we had to think of a new idea.  So, we decided to film different tongue twisters in different languages. For that, we went to dbh students playground and we asked for people who could speak a different language from basque or spanish. We took them individually and recorded them saying a tongue twister and we let them reading it because they didn't know it by heart. Also, the audio wasn't very good so we recorded the audio, but we weren't able to add it to the video.  We made a little scene, where the teacher ...

EXCHANGE

Last year I had the opportunity to take part in a exhange program, so I would definitely repeat that experience. We went to the north of France to practise french.  It was an unforgetable experience, we had a lot of fun. This year, I would like to go to the north of Europe. Like Norway, Germany... I think it would be a great opportunity to know other countries and that we will remember that experience forever.

DONOSTIA INNOVATION CHALLENGE

Imagen
Last day, Iñigo made a interesting presentation and he made me think about the problems that are in Donostia, but as I do not live in Donostia, I will write about Usurbil. This are someone of the problems I have found in Usurbil: There isn't enough light in the train station. When you have to walk from there at night, it's so scary.  When it rains, there is nowhere to go to. The only place you can go is to the sport centre.  There are a few sports you can do. It would be a good idea to have a bigger range of different sports, like this people would have the opportunity to do the sport they like in they town. This is our last proiekt!

PREPARING THE EDL

I have come up with the idea of creating a small competition between different classes. We should organise some activities such as "furor furor" which is a singing competition, where someone says a word an each group has to think a song in any language which appears that word. We are going to make different rounds and when a group isn't able to think of other any song, the group would be left out of the competition. The group that  is able to think of the most quantity of songs will be the winner.  On the other hand, we could do other activities to practice other languages, like writting a word in the board and each group will have to guess which language is. If there is only a group that guesses the language they will win 3 points, if there are more than one group that guess the language each group will win 1 point. The group with most points will be the winner.  We will write this words: ( eskerrikasko ) -  Gracias - spanish - Thank you - english - Merci - ...

LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

1. In how many different languages can you greet someone? I can greet in 4 languages: basque, spanish, french and english. 2. In how many different languages can you count from 1 to 10 ? In can count in 4 languages: basque, spanish, french and english. 3. Can you write your name in different alphabets (such as Greek or Cyrillic) No, I can't but I would like to. 4. Identify 5 words in your language that are the same in other languages: Berdea - Berde , Kotxea - Coche 5. Identify 3 words in your language that mean different things in other languages (false friends!). Actualmente - Actually,  6. Have you ever read a comic book in a foreign language? And a book? Yes, I have read lots of books in a foreign language.  7. Who is the person you know who speaks more languages and discovered why he/she speaks so many.  My french teacher. He speaks 7 languages but I do not have any idea of why he speak...

THE IMPORTANCE OF AUDIOVISUAL

In today's society audiovisual devices have a great amount of uses to make our life easier. For this reason, we can find it everywhere. It's true that technology makes our lifes easier, but I think that it is possible to live without them. Although without audiovisuals we wouldn't be able to do a lot of things that we can do nowadays. In conclusion, audiovisuals bring us a lot of benefits and they make our lifes easier.
